Hi All,

I told you I’d be back!  I hope this blog finds you and your family well, and your rainwater tanks, pools, dams etc full! I have been busy of late organising my new business-TJ’s Scrapwords.  I had a training session with the guys from Sydney last week and I learnt heaps of new tricks and applications for the machine.  I have been  busy designing and producing new pieces, as well as ordering packaging, designing stationary, and all the other things that go with launching a new product-(most of them not originally thought about!)  Keep an eye on  the website for the new range, which I am hoping to launch by the end of September.

Check out the uploads from our DT-the LO’s are fantastic!!!! Keep up the good work ladies-I know a few of you fell victim to the horrible flu that has been around of late, but hopefully the rain will have washed all the germs away.

The shop has been busy-lots of classes-and Trina has organised a Sunday afternoon “Scrap & Chat” for the end of September-I am not sure of the date-check in the information session-I will make sure it is updated.  We will also be running Kids Classes over the holidays-so if you live locally and are looking for something to amuse the kids-give us a call for more info. We have had a few deliveries as well, Trina has been pitting them up over the last few nights-new flowers, alpha rubons, papers from Sandylion & Kelly Pannacci, and some new stickers-pirate papers and embellishments are back in stock.

The upgrade on our photo kiosk comes soon, with many more features including a Creation Station which will allow you to put your favorite photos(or layouts) onto cups, mousemats, tshirts etc-great for Christmas- and an online processing option to name a few.  We will keep you updated.

Well I must go, time to get ready for work and school.  I will upload some of my recent LO I have done using my words- Check out the gallery. My scanner is playing up, so I took photos, which explains the dodgy cropping! Hope you like!

Until next time,

Happy Scrapping,

Terri

Hi Everyone

August 23rd, 2007

Hi to all and welcome to our website.  I am a first time “blogger”- so forgive me if I am not doing it right.

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Terri and I am a 30 something mother of four. I have a 14.5yo son-Matthew- who being a typical teenager thinks I know nothing and spends all his free time on the computer/net. Then there is Lucas-13yo-also thinks I know nothing and likes to spend all his free time on the computer/net, but also devotes a large amount of time SMSing his mates.  My oldest daughter, Lauren, is 11.5yo, also thinks I know nothing#*!$!%*#-(I’m pretty sure I know something), and has hit the teenage angst early-girls always are more advanced than boys aren’t they-LOL. After having two boys I longed for a daughter to dress up, and be girly with, but no such luck-Lauren is an outdoor girl-my “Earth Angel”-who loves to be outside and dirty,- a rescuer to all creatures great and small.  Occasionally a glimpse of girly girl peeks through-but not as much as one would hope! Then there is Emma-my 5yo who thinks I know everything(thank goodness).  She was our surprise baby, and she made our family complete.  Although Emma likes to be dirty, messy, noisy and in your face-she is a lot more girly than Lauren(although Emmas’ best friend is a boy-Blake).  Emma is a born performer, and will charm anyone and everyone she meets.

I married my partner Aaron last August, after a 17 year engagment(you can’t rush these things!!!!) He is a workaholic, and has recently given up smoking after 20+ years, so we are all very proud of his efforts. He is also a very patient and understanding man who understands where I am coming from, and puts up with me.

As you may already know, I am in partnership with Trina, and we are very proud of our little shop.  It is a lot of hard work-and I don’t have near enough time for scrapbooking anymore, although I do have a lot of resources at my fingertips-I still spend as much, if not more than when I got to S/book all the time.   For this reason I really enjoy OTP items, they are “quick”, and I feel like I have accomplished something.

I have also started another business venture of my own, “TJ’s Scrapwords”-I had an hour or two free- and I will be designing and manufacturing words, phrases, borders, shapes etc from chipboard to start off with, and will eventually move on to acrylic, balsa, and metals.  Keep an eye on the website as products start to appear.

Well I am hoping to blog-is that what you say?- at least once a week-no promises though- so check back to see what is going on with the shop, etc.  Please feel free to reply, or ask me questions- I will do my best to answer promptly.

Well it’s off to start dinner-did I mention that is my son Matthews’ other pastime-eating, and eating, and eating some more.  He is over 6′ tall. I think his legs really are hollow!!!

Until next time,

Happy Scrapping,

Terri
